When dropping a pin for your locations of interest in The World API feature of the API Toolkit, you may be curious "How specific should my location selection be?"

As a general rule, you'll want to place your pin to within 1km of your location of interest. You may find that location search, followed by a precision click on your area of interest will work best!

Once you've complete a search and used the "Download Data" button, your query will be saved as a 'Recent Location' in the API Toolkit.
